The Charmed Crow Collective
The Charmed Crow Collective is a retail and gathering space that represents what we want to see more of in the Portland community. Their focus is on providing high-quality handmade items directly from artists, vintage apparel and home decor, unique and eclectic gifts, and a gathering space to host workshops and community events. As a maker-owned retail collective, they are boots on the ground changing the culture and structure of traditional consignment to a more reciprocal structure that directly benefits the artists as well as the retail space.
Overview
Branding the Charmed Crow Collective from the ground up was required to launch their business on social media, running an Indiegogo campaign, and eventually opening a storefront in Northeast Portland.
A versatile logo was necessary for the different kinds of applications they wanted to make use of. This combination logo can be used in many different ways. A retro, yet whimsical look was achieved through the use of an Art Nouveau style typeface accompanying a cheeky crow with a button in its beak.
